  •   Hmmm, so there might be a path to victory for Wu (0+ / 0-)

She will need to do well in South Boston, aka Southie, which suprisingly went for Scott Brown at 55%.

Of course Martha Coakley could have won relatively easily if she hadnt pissed off so many voters with her somewhat arrogant attitute: Oh:  I have won the democratic primary, and now I will just coast in!

When Kennedy faced a challenge from, yes, Mitt Romney back in 1994 , he HUSTLED and fought for every vote. Of course he won.

But ALL voters expect their representatives to EARN their votes! And MA is no different.

I digress: I did not mean to!

If Harmony is to stand a chance, she will need to touch flesh/ meet people starting immediately.

In MA, retail politics is appreciated and WORKS.

    •  Southie won't vote for a Wu (1+ / 0-)

If you think Southie is going to vote for someone with the last name of Wu over someone named Lynch, you know nothing about Massachusetts.

      •  Couldn't agree more. (0+ / 0-)

I haven't seen a map of the district but I'm guessing that a big number of the votes come from Southie.  Sure, they are Democrats there but working class, relatively conservative Democrats.
