...I'll answer that letter they sent today with another donation.

If not? It's off to MoveOn and DFA I go.

    Yeah, it's blackmail.

Well, given how small my donations are, maybe light-graymail.

rosenberg is a damn good/smart guy ... we need samrt people like him making strategic decisions

that said, i kinda hope Dean does pull it out.

it would certainly be a F.U. to the C.W. and the whole "dean scream." i'd like that.

        ...should've said 'Dean or Rosenberg'

Both strike me as great possibilities. I liked someone's comment a few months back that they should split the role.

        •  What are Rosenberg's bona fides? (none)
If you dont mind enumerating a few.

I admit, I havent been paying much attention to him, other than that he comes up as someone Kos thinks is ok, seeing on front page on occasion.

I think he was a guest on MR a few weeks ago, and if I remember correctly, he seemed more go-along re the Iraq war wing. More Kerryish, ie, the How we did it.

I admit, I am not clear on it. Recollection is vague. Dont want to say its so if not, but wonder if it is, is that an indication of a rather DLCish mentality? What makes him more palatable than the others to people on board here?

      •  I Heard Rosenberg and Now Worry (none)
He and some others were on a weekend (re?) broadcast with Marty Kaplan.

He recognized all the structural aspects that Dean has highlighted, but his methodology seems to be "I know some Guys who'll donate...."

While we definitely need that aspect, he struck me as heading us towards becoming mainly a competing corporatocracy.

I don't sleep well when my future and well-being are so invested, away from my oversight and influence, in the private property system in this global economy.

Dean strikes me as having the ability to reach new conclusions as evidence changes. And in the coming few years, trust me folks, there are going to be huge changes in the evidence.
