    I live in Charlotte, NC.

Congrats on your run.  I will be voting for you and against Senator Burr, a Bush Republican and Tea Bagging obstructionist.

My main concern with this state is the lack of unionization.  Too many jobs in the public sector are vulnerable to cutbacks because the banks in this state have dumped massive amounts of debt on county budgets in the form of government issued bonds.

Tax dollars should be invested in people and jobs, not expansion projects for schools and libraries that line the pockets of developers, bond brokers and loan officers.

Counties need to fully staff existing infrastructure before expanding but banks have installed their partners on county commissions.

Charlotte Meck Libraries owes 49 million to bondholders like Bank of America, Wachovia and Suntrust.  They just closed half of the city's libraries.

I can't imagine how much county debt derives from the ever expanding school districts across the state.  The figure runs in the 100 millions for sure.  That money should be invested in new jobs, new taxpayers and an expanding tax base that creates a surplus where taxes can then be lowered.

The voters need to know that bonds are debt.

Bond initiatives should only be allowed on ballots in instances of a tax surplus for a given county.

    We need people, not concrete.

    Thank you for listening.
