I met Larry Kissell and thought he would represent core Democratic values. I am also in Price's district, so this was just helping out people in another district who were miserably represented by Robin Hayes. It is just incomprehensible to me that Kissell voted against this bill. I would have preferred a much, much stronger, single payer bill but this makes steps that will help the 20% or so in his district without health insurance.

He is just on the wrong side of history, which is sad.

    No public option, no peace.

In part because he is a teacher and seemed like a "real" person.  I find it incomprehensible that he voted against HCR.  My only conclusion is that somebody in big Pharma or insurance got to him.  That medicare scare is funded by the insurance companies who provide Medicare Advantage plans.  (I have been the recipient of many scary-booga-booga mailings as I am on a Medicare Advantage plan myself).
