  •  The only question (none) what next.

Right now, we are on the ropes and without control of anything in Iraq and there is some evidence that Saudi Arabia is becoming more unstable.

Will the Bushes abandon it - seems doubtful, but how can we hold on without any troop replinishment? Will Bush actually go for the draft? Seems like political suicide. Our mighty military has been challenged and is losing.  We have lost the scare factor - no one is scared of the paper tiger anymore.  Will we be "forced" to do the unthinkable - nuclear or mass annihilation of Iraq?

Meanwhile, our European and world challengers can let the US smother in debt and balance of trade problems.  At the right time, they get rid off all those treasuries, etc that they are currently supporting our debt with. What then? Also, don't forget Putin would love to put Russia back up into the arena of world prestige and use its own vast oil reserves to assure that ascendancy.

Don't know about you, but I think that we are in a world of hurt and don't see a light ahead.  Bush is about to take the US low.
