If a Dem said this about Republicans, would we be terribly upset?

"fuck [Republicans].  They didn't vote for us anyway."

I think a lot of us would be cheering if someone said that.

So at least going by the very short quote being bandied about, I can't determine any particular animosity directed at Jews because they're Jews, which is what would make that comment anti-Semitic.

The true measure of a man's character lies not in how he treats his friends, but in how he treats his enemies.

try the substitution game, but instead of Republicans, replace jews with another minority group, like say blacks, or hispanics, or gays, or women.

"Fuck blacks.  They didn't vote for us anyway"
"Fuck hispanics, they didn't vote for us anyways"
"Fuck gays, they didn't vote for us anyways"
"Fuck women, they didn't vote for us anways"

I'm guessing we would be quite offended.  I doubt many of us would be cheering someone on who said something like that.  Some of us might even find such comments to be racist/homophobic/sexist.
