Excuse the perhaps pun, given the topic, but I find you kind of testy.

I just think it is so awful, Obama's ed direction, and would have hoped you would have mentioned it in this diary, as well... given how you are fishing around in it to find answers to improve education... and use his Race to the Top in the title. Nothing quite like not pulling punches, as often as possible. Not for nothing did the bush admin keep it simple and keep it coming (their messaging)... and it did work. Even if the policies didnt... like No Child Left Behind.

I said I didnt see either of your diaries, Ravitch and Obama'scare (aka, his education reform)... and said I would check out the latter when I have a moment. Good on you for writing on these topics. Am currently reading more on and from Ravitch and just saw her on Cpsan's Afterwords. In case you are interested, link is given in first post of mine, here.

Hey, you too... Have a nice day (and that's without sarcasm)

Should a "progressive" Dem blog dwell in the safe zones of a tame party, or should it drive a tame party to break out?

Never said you speak for all teachers... Never implied that. Odd take on what I did say.
