  •  Yes, how dare folks ignore the markers delimiting (0+ / 0-)

… the paths of approved thought. Can't they read? It clearly says "Keep off the grass!" Only a conspiracy theorist would doubt the Russian government's word on anything.

So where's all the outrage against anti-atheist bigotry?

      •  So you're saying those are the only choices now? (0+ / 0-)

Either (1) one takes the Russian, U.S., etc., government's word on everything at face value, or (2) one automatically believes 9/11 was an inside job?

There are truly no other possibiities, just those two? That's a strange universe you're describing!

believe any CT. It's that simple. Sure, people have a freedom to be inconsistent hypocrite jerks, that much is true.

So where's all the outrage against anti-atheist bigotry?

that a group of neocon nutsacks inside the US government conspired to mislead America into at least one war, using fabricated and exaggerated evidence?

Lots of people didn't believe that. Some still don't. They're wrong, consistently.

we report; you decide how much crap you can swallow

          •  But "CT" is not a genuine intellectual category. (1+ / 0-)

It's just a pejorative label that is unevenly applied, depending upon who is speaking.

So anyone who decides "not to believe any CT" is a priori ceding their intellectual independence to whatever "political imams" are in a position to issue "fatwas" that some lines of questioning are CT, and make the label stick.
