    There's one thing I forgot to mention you may be interested to know.

    Pred-Forte is one of the few medications where the generic is not equivalent. The doctor said I'd have to take the brand name for 1 year. After that, can use generic.

    The brand name cost $65 for a 3 month supply (10 ml). The generic is $23 for a 3 month supply. My insurance will not pay any of the brand name, but will pay some of generic. So I'm eager for when I can use generic.

    If you have cataract surgery, you'll use Pred-Forte but for just a few days. You'll no doubt get the generic because it won't be such a big deal.
