when I could load the diary (less than 200 comments) I didn't see many comments acknowledging Budhy might not be presenting the whole story.
and maybe none that acknowledged it, just some that argued it.
otoh I can wholeheartedly recommend this diary, and would happily sign on to it if asked.  as far as  "breaking the peace" goes--too dramatic for me.  I try and treat everyone here as I do people in the real world.  I can disagree without being disagreeable, although rarely comment if I do disagree.

But this is about more than civility, and it's about more than one faction or another.

Buhdy was pissed about a certain thing, and was motivated to write about it.  He asked for contributors, and while I tried to get some things changed and failed, I still agreed enough with the overall message that I signed on.

Just between us, I predicted this would go down like the last scene in Animal House, but I am all for pointless rebellion.  I do like spirited discussion, so if I am willing to go out on a limb like this, I need to be willing to look myself in the mirror and be the change I want to see.

Ask not what Turkana can do for you, ask what you can do for Turkana.
