    to have a majority. If nobody can get together, then the Queen has the constitutional power to start knocking heads.

      I meant who is likely to form a coalition. I know it is conditional on the distribution of seats, but would the Lib-Dems hold their noses to screw Labour or something like that?

        of the election. If either the Torries or Labour have a majority there is no need for a coalition. If there is not then that is when the Lib Dems have some bargaining chips. They would be likely walk down the aisle with which ever beau promised them the most power in the coalition.

          I'm interested in speculation as to what would happen if neither the Tories or Labour win the majority. I guess it is to early for speculation. I would hate to see a Tory government even if Labour is like the DLC
