Do you believe Obama is Muslim?

My experience is, that one pretty much does it.  Everyone I've ever challenged, and grilled incessantly, on this one eventually came right out and admitted, they had a problem with "the blacks" (as one woman actually put it).

The only part of my country I'm ashamed of, is Sean Hannity.

and be all wobegone over it, but that doesn't necessarily translate to racism either. Granted many of these teabaggers can't distinguish Muslim from Arab. If they hated Obama for being Muslim in that case, then yes they'd be racist.

I'm going strictly on personal experience.  I don't doubt there are sincerely non-racist people out there somewhere who vehemently and angrily swear he has to be a Muslim and a scary one and there's something wrong with someone who doesn't feel that way...

On second thought, no, that's flat out racism.

But someone who just thinks matter of factly he's Muslim?  Could be they're not racist.  But every person I've known who made an issue out of it wanted to do it to "warn" people.  I have yet to meet anyone who thinks Obama is a Muslim but consider it no big deal.
