      to pass this bill. It's the support of millions of voters, many of whom are not racists, but are undecided or maybe leaning against this bill. They are the key to putting pressure on their elected representatives. Smearing them as racists probably isn't the best of tactics to choose to get this done.

        Here I thought we were a representative republic and only elected officials voted on the laws before Congress.

          Never claimed we have one. But you think these Congresscriters are all high minded folks who ignore the polls, letters, phone calls, emails and just vote their conscience, right?
