    Have nothing to do with the content of the speech, and have to be reasonable and justified.  Just like limits on campaign contributions.

      is not absolute.

      And you accept limitations on campaign contributions, yet you insist on an absolute right to spend unlimited corporate treasury funds to promote speech the only purpose of which is advocacy for or against a candidate?

      At what point does that expenditure become an in-kind campaign contribution?

      •  Here's where I part from the CU decision (0+ / 0-)

        I do think there's a point at which an IE can be deemed corrupting.  I don't think this film was, but hold out for some future case for which such restrictions would be justified.

        That said, time, place and manner restrictions can't shut folks out.
