  •  Thomas is an advocate, not a jurist. (8+ / 0-)

He was put on the Court as an advocate, and he has advocated for those who put him there.  It is laughable that anyone would think that he would consider himself subject to any rules that he doesn't like or want.  He would argue that he may not be final because he's infallible, but he's infallible because he's final.

And his wife?  What to say about the lovely Ginny, who used to run the "Cult Awareness Network?" before she got a gig on Dick Armey's staff?  Google it.  Or her comments about how Clarence was rolling around on the floor, moaning and trying to exorcise his personal demons when the closest-Supreme Court-confirmation-vote in Senate history was occurring.

The Thomases are George H.W. Bush stooges.  And they've delivered the goods as required.  Neither give a rat's ass about what people think, as long as they remain welcome in the conservative salons of greater Washington.

But they are contemptible.  I think that reasonable people should be able to agree on that.*

*Did you know that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas officiated at Rush Limbaugh's third marriage?  Check it out, HERE.    Nice.
