    Of course Disney failed to mention he was getting paid with those taxes to make that propaganda (if it has a duck in it would it be propa-gander?) piece and that the Daddy Warbucks types were profitting nicely from all those "Taxes to Fight the Axis". Since so much of our taxes goes to corporate welfare its hard for me to feel "patriotic" about it. I do it since it's my duty and because I don't want to spend time in tax court fighting the IRS. But it would a damn sight easier if I was paying to help American people and not corporations so much.

    Wal*Mart isn't the root of all evil but you can buy the plastic, cadmium-tainted, Chinese knock-off of it there for $4.27

      there was an excess profits tax (90% on earnings over average earnings 1936-39 in 1942, 95% the remainder of the war).

      We tried to pay for the wars back then, anyway....
