OK.  The man is guilty of something.  For those of you who don't know the story, in the past three years, Ben Roethlisberger (quarterback par excellence and two-time Superbowl winner), has been in a nearly fatal motorcycle accident and been accused of rape twice. I think Ben is a classic type T personality.  He gets off on the risk.  He stands to be the top quarterback for 4th quarter comebacks in the NFL.

    But,

his personality is not my concern.

    ...around this dude.

Now other accusation(s) have been noted against this guy.

After further investigation, the documents showed that

a 16-year-old involved in a Milledgeville law enforcement program knew about multiple unwanted sexual advances Roethlisberger made towards a friend’s sister

. When asked for an interview, the woman declined.

This guy is toast if the "stenopool" media decides to pursue this guy's act.

It's 12:20 p.m EST...does everyone know where there women are...are they anywhere near

Ben Roethlisberger (quarterback par excellence) !?!?

    NEXT...!!!?????????

      can you?

I didn't know about these many other allegations.  Although the common thought is that there are many women who prey on athletes ... allow stuff and cry rape.  But, is this all just a myth or does it really happen both ways?  There is no doubt that Ben preys on women and as they say on ESPN, "puts himself in bad situations".

I have no doubt that he is guilty of many cases of exploitation.  I'm sure, like you, that lots of women just don't say anything.  How many other athletes are similarly inclines?  I'm not sure if your quote indicates that you think I am condoning anything.  I hope not.

In the NBA they call them NBA groupies. However, given that this is the second incident involving Roethilisberger, I think that there's more to it.

        •  MYTH BUSTER ALERT: It's not just the NBA.... (0+ / 0-)

Both my sons are professional sports figures...one in NYC and the other in Miami (two different sports).

They both say it's a problem in pro footbal and baseball.

That it is has long been a problem...going back 30 years when the contracts began to balloon.

Evidently, the scants, scabs, and sluts (gold diggers all) follow the money.

But it takes two to tango also. Yes there are those groupies but it takes someone succumbing into the temptation to make it happen.
