    getting legislation passed.

    I don't consider caving to the Republicans creative and that is what bipartisanship has come to mean.

    The President and Democrats could look at their entire legislative agenda and identify those that could be passed by reconciliation because they meet the rules and prioritize those to the top.

    They could pick out pieces of larger legislative bills that could be passed with reconciliation and make those individual bills.  At least some Democratic priorities could be passed before Democrats lose the House this Nov.

    The Republicans have shown they aren't going to work with Democrats no matter what so why pretend they are and waste time with bipartisanship?  It's a delay tactic and a loser for Democrats.
