    that the countries that have the highest consumption also have the highest rates of osteoporosis. It's possible that the calcium isn't helping bone strength.
    As good as milk can be, it should really be not be drunk so liberally.

      I'm not a milk drinker, but wonder what effect whole, unpasteurized milk from pastured, rather than grain-fed, cows would have on osteoporosis rates versus what we have available and was probably the product studied.
      In general, I think most foods, as said often here -  in moderation, are fine, if you can get at them before they've been improved, modified, fortified, flavored, fractionated, defatted, and otherwise sliced and diced by the food industry.
