    We had a famous cause of a psychotherapist who helped out people who couldn't afford her rates, so she arranged for them to do chores.  Her motives were good:  Give them a sense of "trade" in the transaction, so their self-esteem wouldn't take a hit from the apparent asymmetry in the relationship.

    She lost her license to practice because of State Laws (in California), because it "might be" abused by unscrupulous practitioners.

    I'd imagine Lowden is too stupid to know she's suborning law-breaking.

    At a whole other level, I don't know of a physician who's hurting for patients; by declining a Lowden-inspired "negotiator," they won't want for patients at all.

    Just a soul on a roll...
