    They are behind this board!

    History of the Education Alliance:
    Electing Conservative School Board Members
The Education Alliance was formed in 1994, and operated as a political action committee supporting candidates who support local control of our schools, the rights of parents to make educational choice for their children, and an emphasis on basic, academic instruction.

Support for these common sense principles put the Education Alliance squarely at odds with the teachers unions.

"We just won the great unfinished fight of the 20th century. Now we need to win the fight of the 21st - the battle for our planet. This is our time to do it."

Just clicked on the link, and couldn't help but notice all these 'buzz words:'
"freedom from control by teachers unions and other special interest groups"
      "local control of schools"
"Positive Discipline and Values" specifically that parents should have the right to determine the 'values' taught in schools
      "excellence in academics and performance"
As a parent, I don't want the schools teaching my kids values.  That's my job.  And, hey, why don't I just handle the discipline, too.  But I digress.

I will NOT be supporting any candidates for my school board that are endorsed by the Education Alliance.  Sounds like a front for a bunch of union-busting, standardized-test pushers!

      Cyclists have sexy legs.
