...and the internecine battles give way to the real battles in November.

the "internecine battles" will poison the general, because Lee has been a really slimebag. THIS is apparently how he acts under pressure, and I don't like the guy I'm seeing. He was basically a cipher to me until this campaign, but now I'm coming to really dislike him.

Is that as Politico put it he's a candidate who raises lots of money but has no real constituency.

As a Brunner supporter, I'll tell you that I'll likely vote for Fisher if he winds up our nominee, but running on not being the greater of two evils will only get you so much.

The problem with Fisher winning the primary is that it's not really going to resolve much.  The reason alot of us don't support him is that we simply do not believe he can run an effective campaign against Rob Portman.

Even if he wins, I don't think Fisher's exactly done anything but reinforce that perception and done so in a manner that's created a number of new converts to that view.

Portman is (alas)formidable. Especially here in SW Ohio. I would far prefer a fighting Dem, & in that respect, I think Brunner would do well. I'm not getting into the middle of this debate tho. If Fisher gets the nod, then I'm an instant Fisher fan...
