    reports this week.

Turns out that any ambidextrous kid in the class would have been considered developmentally impaired - one of the four or five watchpoints they had for motor control development was whether we were favoring one hand over the other yet, no matter how good or poor our motor control was for either hand.

Hoping and praying that the empty chairs and empty tables in Iran when all is said and done are as few as possible.

to watch out for problems, but should not become so bureaucratically "high-stakes"!

      •  It wasn't really a high-stakes situation, but (2+ / 0-)

it was rather illuminating to see what they were actually looking for while watching us (don't like singing? don't like playing musical instruments? no developmental checkmarks for you!), and also made me understand a bit of how they could have missed that we had a class bully for as long as they did.
