    Which is within the trial court's discretion.  The Seventh Amendment's prohibition against excessive bail primarily applies between arrest and conviction, when there is a presumption of innocence, and not after conviction, where there is a strong presumption of guilt.  Since the sentence is known and is severe, any bond should of course be extremely high - the danger of his bolting and hiding is also extremely high.
