    was breathtaking for me as a male to have lived through. Within a span of 2-3 years when it became widely available a whole world of language and behavior just disappeared from the middle/upper-middle class.

    The feminist movement has been important in many ways, but it was the pill not theories of justice that swept away so many of the excuses that had been holding women back.
