I'm kidding.  Probably that grifter Rubio.

I think Crist would win if Meek was not a candidate and it was a two way race.  He would pull a large part of the democratic party and also the sane republicans as well as the indies.

The thing I want more than anything else is for Rubio not to get into the senate.

IF Meek does not get his campaign together and start to show a real possibility of winning then he should drop out.  NOT because I don't want a democrat to win but the worst thing would be for the republican nutcase Rubio to win.  Crist is more of a dem than ben nelson (ok that doesn't say much but its true) and blanche lincoln, he will definitely caucus with the dems.

Its a tough one.  I never thought I would even imagine it is better that the democratic candidate drop out to help the independent who was once a republican but in this case I am afraid of what will happen otherwise.

Meek I am not so sure can win. It would be preferable if Meek does obviously.

      •  Meek's problem is that no one (7+ / 0-)
knows him beyond the Miami area and many Democrats and moderates will vote for Crist to stop Rubio. (Jeb Bush's puppet)

Crist's advantage is that his home base is Tampa Bay (crucial I-4 corridor voting area)and many people are pissed with the Florida Republican Party, their childish games, whining and corruption besides throwing Charlie out for often doing the right thing for voters.

Crist has an advantage in that he is from Central Florida especially the vote rich Tampa-St. Pete area.

I also agree Meek is gonna suffer because many will not think he can win and that in order to keep Rubio out they have to vote Crist. It won't be hard for many DEMS to vote Crist...he is really popular with Florida DEMS.

      •  Do you mean Bill Nelson (D-FL)? (0+ / 0-)

I live in Florida. Some of you here on Daily Kos need to to get over the Crist love affair. You are far away fantasizing about Crist and Florida politics. MEEK is a good Democratic candidate. Crist is a political shark. He's been Republican all these years in Florida because he just wants to win. No integrity on Democratic Party issues. You are delusional suggesting Meek should resign. And you are insensitive to the fact that MEEK can become the first Black Senator in Florida history. Please get a divorce from Crist. GO MEEK
