    125k to 175k trend is not good enough.

    But I disagree about the "too late" part, it may be just me, but a year ago I seriously thought we could be headed for another Great Depression. The fact that we are growing jobs at all is a miracle.

    On a human level, it will always be too late for those that lost their jobs. Even a month out of work is too much when you've got bills to pay. And it may be too late for politics and elections. But given the broader economic problems and the slow way in which economies change directions, this turnaround counts in the very fast category.

      The "too late" bit the commented did was just being dramatic.

      I didn't think we were headed for a depression, because as shitty as they were (half-assed efforts if we're being generous, and corrupt in the latter's case), both ARRA and TARP did enough to prevent it, along with the Fed coming out guns-a'blazing once Bernanke finally figured out that, yes, we were indeed in deep shit (better late than never).
