    I know it doesn't seem like much, but the entire NBA is behind pushing this. You've got two teams that really don't like each other, but find common ground against this law.

    I think it could work on a few levels.

    1. It brings the latino and african-american communities together in solidarity.
    1. It spotlights the horrible law to a broader audience via the NBA playoffs. People that may have supported the law or didn't care one way or the other might now have second thoughts.
    1. It might embolden more politicians who see that there is some people taking chances and coming out vocally.
