    the DUP has less votes nationally than the Green Party. The Green Party has no seats in the Commons, while the DUP has 9 elected (and 1 UUP defection). So, FPTP does not actually represent the actual votes with representation in the commons.

    I am also from the US, but given the fact that the executive has far more power over the legislative here, I think that PR will shift the balance of power a bit.
