    to the swings in whatever direction. In Wales, the swings are moving to the left towards Plaid. Menzies Campbell (lib dem) has held his seat. City of Durham (held by labour since 1985 and a really lovely place btw) and Labour's most marginal seat with the Lib Dems is being called:

    Labour has held, which is a surprise.

    Kirkcaldy result (Gordon Brown's seat):

    Gordon Brown has held his seat (significant majority)

    Conservatives have gained Battersea.
