    I think you would have gotten similar poll numbers a decade ago.

    Since there is overwhelming public support, and the members of Congress know this, the only plausible explanation is power special interests who prefer the status quo.

    That is - the people who make more money by hiring undocumented workers than they would otherwise. Those are the obstacle, and they will be there in equal force next year or the year after.

    Carpe diem, Democrats. This is the equivalent of financial reform. Take credit for doing something with 80% popularity.
