  •  It could. My only hestitancy is that an (8+ / 0-)

an unled group can be very tricky.

Had one experience with that in the real world and it was a disaster.

Of course that was long ago.

I think there would need to be quidelines of some sort so folks wouldn't end up feeling overwhelmed, which is my only concern.

    What do you think?

    •  I was just hoping someone knew of a blog (9+ / 0-)

already in existence. Not sure if Dailykos would be the right forum for this topic, as it would get very personal and emotional. Some of the comments here were wrenched from the very soul, so of course people would feel overwhelmed. It took a lot of courage to share this with us all.

      •  Been thinking about this and still don't have any (7+ / 0-)

        simple answers.

I wouldn't recommend dropping into a blog dealing with this issue unless work had been done with a therapist first.

You're absolultely right about folks getting keyed off and overwhelmed.

It happened to one of the commenters here.

Healing comes in stages and it takes time to learn how to manage it.

What may be familiar to one, may not be familiar to another.

I've gotten pretty used to dealing with "flashbacks" and know how to deal with them fairly well.

Thank god they don't happen too often.

But I would worry greatly about folks who haven't had the time to do so.

I hope this is making sense.

        Please let me know.
