to throw another wrinkle in all that stuff in container ships, or just floating free over acres of the Pacific.

as the no-fee dump grounds to keep the quarterly bottom line just that much higher.

My bonus today doesn't care about where the trash islands and dead zones float tomorrow (until they start washing ashore on some corporate beach and then we'll all be doing the Bobby Jindal dance hoping to make federal agency's and federal financial assistance rain down on our little part of heaven.)

It's 'redistribution' whether it happens before or after the money is made and whether it goes up to a small group or down to a larger one.

and international dateline intersection. Recycling is absolutely mandatory on the island. The island of floating UV degraded plastic is closer to Hawaii and been doing nothing but growing over the last twenty years.

The states and people should have been getting more out of the leases and royalties than the last century pricing we have and mentality that continues to exist.

That is one thing Alaska got right. The coal severance tax here in W. Va. is not nearly enough as the schools are woefully underfunded in coal counties. Poverty and mountain top removal line up very well and the property tax base is just not there. There is about a 5 fold disparity in the housing assessments from the southern coal fields to where I live in the thumb at the end of the Md. train from DC.

Everytime I see of or hear of that, it just astounds me and until it washes ashore or produces some new contagious disease that kills off hords of people or sea life, we leave it there as a monument to our greed and selfishness.

          Stewardship my ass.
