    Perhaps the Clinton Administration would be a more productive benchmark

    According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 22,760,000 jobs were created during 8 years of the Clinton Administration. That's an average of about 2.8 million new jobs created per year.

    Under Bush II, only 1,895,000 jobs were created in 8 years. That's how we ended up with such a screwed up economy.

    Obama needs to aim for Clinton's numbers - let's see if he can create 2.8 million jobs every year.  I think he can if he sets his mind to it.
