  •  Scott--if you are going to be (6+ / 0-)

calling yourself a "pro-choice" candidate, you might want to think about the sentence that concludes the "Reproductive Rights" section on your campaign site.

    1. Reproductive Rights:  I am supportive of the current laws and decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court.  I am a pro-choice Democratic candidate.  I do not support late-term/partial birth terminations.

The term "partial birth abortion/termination" is a concoction of the anti-choice movement.  What you are saying is that you are pro-choice except when you are not. You might be "more choice" than your opponent, but I do not consider that to be a pro-choice position.

Please consider looking further into this issue.  It's a significant one--and far more complex that a single sentence summary.  You might start here:

Very cute dogs, by the way.  Is Kyle a red and white beagle?  Can't tell his size from the photo.

term to describe therapudic termination well into a woman's pregnancy.  They are done for fetuses that are grossly deformed, will not survive to full term, or will die shortly after birth.

Elective abortions, for all the roadblocks anti-choice groups put up, are done before the end of the first trimester of pregnancy.

Anti-choice people like to use a fear raising term for a reasonable medical choice by a woman, her family, and her doctor.

Please don't buy into the anti-choice hype.  Every word that comes out of those people's mouths are LIES, pure and simple.
