    states, it's also one of the most urbanized. It buys textbooks at the state level, giving it enormous buying power.

    I think the concern is overblown. Demographics are not looking good for these right wing loons in Texas. This is one last desperate gasp of the countryside to impose its will on the urban areas.

      and go as far as they can before they get into legal challenges, is a repeat of the Kansas Board of education with a different twist, if this come to pass unchallenged, next year we will see an effort to undermine the separation of church and state
