  •  The rain will help Sestak right? (5+ / 0-)

That's what I was assuming, since I don't see people fired up about Specter.

I was voter #34 in my district, at 8:30 this morning.  That's not bad for a rainy primary.

    •  Specter did not have a single sign up at my (4+ / 0-)

precinct.  Not that this is the be all and end all, but he had the machine support.  I saw no evidence at all of the machine where I voted this morning.  Indeed, or local county Dems endorsed both him and Sestak and basically said, "pick whom you like."  As far as I can tell, Specter put no effort into my area at all.  Perhaps he thinks because it's so close to the city he has it locked down?  Or perhaps he thinks because it's so close to DelCo that Sestak will win it anyway?  I have no idea.

I'm in Center City and signs in general have been minimal, but I've gotten at least one robocall each for Specter from Obama, Nutter and Rendell.  And there were door hangers in the neighborhood for Specter last week.  I see about an equal number of roadside signs.  There was no one for either candidate at my polling place this morning.
