    thinking about corporations vis-à-vis this whole "private company" issue. It seems to me that corporations exist solely due to the government (including federal) regulations and laws that define them. They are a blend of private and public, in other words. Would Rand say that a corporate restaurant like Walgren's or MacDonald's should be federally regulated wrt racial discrimination, but that a non-corporate "mom & pop" café should not be affected?

      In fact, does Rand Paul support the existence of corporations, period?  They are a fiction created by the government, after all.  What about copyrights, patents, trademarks....  Paul should come down on the side of The Pirate Bay, which is simply capitalism in action.
