    The testimony of "expert witnesses" aside. I think the story or the lesson is that given the complexity of much of life today and the fallibilty of the so-called experts, regulation and enforcement becomes more crucial than ever.

    This is an important counter argument for the regulation is bad crowd of the GOP/TP. They say it kills jobs and stops business growth. I say it prevents the self-interest of a few from ruining the lives and oceans of the many.

      More important than ever.  As I poured into the ear of one of my Senators the other day on the banking and finance reform bill.

      Don't know how much of it he heard, or whether he'd care, being a lame duck.
