I started going to the Unitarian fellowship in my area recently.  I am so worn down, feel so shattered, that I have to renew my spirit somehow or I will simply curl up and die.  I used to be able to do it simply through gardening, and that's not enough for me anymore, that's how far down I've gone.  I have a husband who has never loved any other woman his entire life but me, and an 11-month-old puppy who is truly a velcro dog, stuck to me like super-glue.  She fell apart when I was brought home from the car accident, would not let me out of her sight.  I don't even want to think about how either of them would react if I wasn't home at all.  So for their sake, I have to find a new source of inner strength.  And it's hard, so very, very hard.

May peace dwell in your heart,
      Understanding in your mind.
      May courage strengthen your will,
And the love of truth forever guide you.

Noor, I hope you find a good, loving, supporting community at a UU fellowship.

It is a difficult road to find, that one which to travel means being aware, and using our intelligence and love.  But do not become  overwhelmed, hide your head in the sand, or bitter. Because the language of greed, hate and nonsense    is so loud, we can't let ourselves be just as controlled by it as the Fundies, and right wingers are.

Chart your own path with what is good, joyful and uplifting, without loosing your resolve to work on the lies and selfishness, that you can.
