Is this the kind of thing your mean?

BP Suggestion Box -- Oh, the irony!  Submit your idea for stopping the gusher directly to the horses' ass.

Need a job?  Oh course not, you bleeding heart liberal, you'd rather volunteer for the BP Gulf Oil Spill Response Team.  [If you need a real job in oil and hazardous waste management. . .]

Got a boat?  That and qualifications could get you a paying job with BP.  Several restrictions apply.  Telephone 281-366-5511.

For seriously interested volunteers, find your best fit in the clean-up efforts through The Gulf Restoration Network, which is coordinating volunteer initiatives by various agencies.  [Also Gulf Coast state specific.]

Can't work, but wish to donate in support of these groups' efforts?

Any contribution of $30 or more will make you a member of the Gulf Restoration Network and receive our quarterly newsletter Gulf Currents, as well as important email actions and our e-update GulfWaves.

For animal lovers (We're all justifiably disgusted with certain humans right now.), The National Wildlife Federation is seeking donations.  Rescue teams are ready, including volunteers, but so far little oil has come ashore to impact estuarian and marshland fauna.

On the softer side, Social networking site created by Scottish web developers offers information exchange and community building.

Of course there's the Golden Apple action item in all this.  Just out of reach, but definitely the most lucious: CEO of BP!  Tony Hayward admits he could lose his job over this.  Could???
