    It's not okay to say that it's enraging?  It's not okay to say that he's committed to see this through to the end?  Wow.

      You've got my comment all wrong. I'm only saying that he is over-promising about making everyone "WHOLE"!

        I had no idea what was wrong with being enraged - which I am.  But yes, you're right that nothing will make this whole.  I read that as a commitment to stay, to do everything that can be done, even though it won't heal the full damage.

        The other thing I keep remembering is that when we GTF out of the way, the Mother heals herself so much more quickly than we can imagine.  If we can just muzzle our hubris and get out of the way, there is some hope.  It will mean no more drilling, however, and I predict a hell of a battle over that.
