    listening to biologist on tv today? Normally I don't cry at all. Dolphins are dying and that kills me. I'm just saying some of us are emotional about this. But in general I suppose you are right, berrieh.

      ...and spent her summers there, I totally hear you on that one. Don't confuse me saying the President shouldn't be presenting a particularly emotional response with saying that people have no reason to feel emotional.

      Feeling emotional and acting from emotion? Two very different things. As observers who can't do anything about it, I think it's only natural we feel more emotional -- or succumb to the emotion more -- than the people charged with doing stuff. (Being good in a crisis means not succumbing to emotion, etc.)
