      Exxon Mobil didn't get "busted" for anything.

      They were liable for cleanup costs and got sued by numerous litigants -- including suits for punitive damages.

      Elsewhere in the thread I mentioned Arthur Andersen and Enron, who did get busted for something.

      Arthur Andersen no longer exists, and, in any real sense, neither does Enron.

      Some Enron executives went to jail for their role in the scandal, but the big fish, Kenneth Lay, beat the jailer by having a fatal heart attack.

      Still, sounds like serious consequences to me.

      Free speech? Yeah, I've heard of that. Have you?
