    you are being scrutinized by the scrutinizers, tell the cop to do one of three things: cite you, arrest you, or let you go.  

    Don't talk.  Don't try to explain yourself. Do not engage in conversation. Do not try to diminish the cop with your superiority.  Certainly do not tell the cop to go pound sand.

    Supply your ID if demanded, insurance and registration too.  Hold out your wrists if you are going to get cuffed. Agree to an alcohol test if required.  

    But still, above anything else, do not say anything except to ask for an attorney and that questioning stop.
