Lamb is one of the best books of all time.

    Well, to me anyway.

    •  have you read "a dirty job"? he recommends that (3+ / 0-)

one to noobies - but, myself, i prefer lust lizard!  that one gets you quickly into the wonderful mad mind of moore!

then stupidest angel brings back all the fine folk of pine cove along with tucker and roberto (fruitbat) and raziel to set the story moving!

if you ever get a chance to go to one of his book tour stops, go!  he is as awesome as his writing - funny, politically astute (democrat, of course), personable and totally real!  been to a few now - after the first, i don't miss'em.  plus it gives me the excuse to get his books immediately on release!

what else have you read?  (i'm guessing all of them - he IS kinda addicting, isn't he!)

    •  another funny... (3+ / 0-)

after i left the job i hated, i realized i'd been taking chris's books to work with me for sanity's sake.

afterwards, i realized one day i walked in with "fool", another day with "you suck" and when i left, i was carrying around "bite me".

      (TRUE story, btw!)

oops.  think they mighta gotten the message?  no one said bye when i left!  (heh heh heh...)
