  •  Dean is One of History's Chosen (4.00)
He is the right man embodying the right message at the right time in the right place. This is an important historical alignment, and yeah, the so-called-powers-that-be had better see this now. Otherwise, the party, like the nation, will have grave deficits from which to recover.

This is an historical opportunity, and I can hardly wait to get back on the train. But if it's not Dean, it may not be the DNC's train I get on.

The Republican Party has become the Fascist Party.

    •  If it's not Dean, I know the train I'm riding and (none)

      •  Any of the reform candidates would do a good job (none)
Let's be honest--the DNC Chairmanship isn't the be-all and end-all of Democratic politics. Dean is by far the best man for the job, but Rosenberg and Fowler and probably Webb would bring the necessary changes to the party structure. And we'd get to work on elected Dean as president in '08.

Now, if the DNC somehow put Roemer in charge, then I think your sig might be reasonable.

      •  so many people I know echo this (none)
        I know I do.

You don't look a gift-ass in the mouth.

Howard was on-target the whole time -- including his occasional wisecracks about Karl Rove's insidious capabilities to cut his mike and turn off the stage lights, both times dean was speaking :)
