    it didn't look any different after it let go and backed off. I thought maybe the angle was wrong for getting the claw onto the knob or something, but it looked like the oil was still coming out of the top of the valve...

    I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...

      I won't say good until there is no flow at the bottom.

      They had to increase the pump speed to take the oil up instead of it flowing out of the valve, or the bottom maelstrom.

        to my eye, it looked like oil was still coming out of the top of the valve when the ROV backed up, as if it hadn't actually closed the valve. Of course, with all the oil flow it is hard to tell for sure, but I couldn't see it had changed.

        I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...
