  •  Crew leader here (8+ / 0-)

Most houses in my District we got with our 6 visits, but we have a handfull that have been visited more than 6 trying to find an able proxy.  I have a couple non-personal stories, but mostly it's been a very mundane job.  Right now I just am trying to get my people to wrap up their Questionaires and get their visits in.

I must say I have an awesome crew. I was in the lead the entire time for percentage complete :).

I got three AA (Assignment Area) books. Two of them I completed 100% (thanks to proxies). The third one I turned in with seven unknown units. Two were from a building where I knew the building owner's name (from tax records from the internet) but I couldn't find a phone number. The other five were from a building where I left voicemails for the owner and never got a response, but I was pretty sure that one of the units was vacant.

My Crew Leader was pretty happy with my overall percentage.

I made a "problem pile" consisting of all the difficult cases and then allowed my enumerators who'd finished (or almost finished) their books look through the problem pile and pick out up to five the hard cases that were a good fit. It worked pretty well, my CLD should be completely finished by the middle of the week.
