If we could only prove that...

Or do we even have to?  What say we just make the accusation without any evidence (a la Rush)?  What is the White House gonna do?  Publicize photos?  What would their press release say?

This is why we need a left-wing equivalent to talk radio. We could get the accuastion out there without any of our candidates needing to say it.

Do you think for one second that if Clinton had done this, Rush & Co. wouldn't have been all over it? Including the sock-in-the-crotch?

We HAVE a left-wing equivalent to talk radio - you're posting on it. Personally, i think the blogsphere is better than talk radio. Sure, the effort and barrier to entry are a little higher, but you get the opportunity to talk back, and the stories get refined.

The reason that we don't have a popular, nationally syndicated progressive talk radio show is that listening to liberals bitch has always been boring.

Michael Moore and Al Franken are exceptionally entertaining liberals, mostly because they simply hold a mirror up to conservatives and let them hang themselves with their own rope. Hard to do on a radio show, although Terry Gross did it on Fresh Air a few weeks ago when Bill O'Reilly stormed out.

The right-wing radio shows that are so popular right now became so because they had a good target during the Clinton Administration. People love to hate the Clintons... still. They are still riding that wave.

Right now there is enough fodder for going after Bush that we could do it in an entertaining way. If lefties are willing to go on the radio and talk about the codpiece etc, people would listen because it is entertaining. If they go on and talk about the unfair thinning of trees, no one will listen, no advertisers will buy spots, no money... no syndication, etc etc.

From Michael Moore's new book, "Dude, Where's My Country?" And I quote:

The proposed "Liberal Radio Network?" What a stupid waste of time. Radio? Are you serious? What century are you living in? Gee, why stop there-let's start a Liberal Pony Express! How about a Liberal Morse Code? S-O-S! Get into the twenty-first century! Get a TV Network. Get an Internet Network. Get Snoop Dogg and 50 cents to run for office.

I take it from this Moore doesn't like Franken's idea.

What would their press release say?

      All c*ck, no sock?

Gosh, good thing this show's on cable.
